Salmon for Congress
Friends,
Can you believe it? Early voting has now begun and we are less than 4 weeks away from Election Day on August 28th! Many of you will begin receiving your ballots in the mail - please don't forget to return them as soon as possible! If you did not receive a ballot and would like to vote early, click here for more information or contact our office at 480-830-2012.
I wanted to send you a brief rundown of the many great things that have happened in this past month, and also let you know what you can do to help our campaign as we near Election Day.
In July, we continued to demonstrate our growing momentum with a few major endorsements. Most notable was the endorsement from our state's courageous leader, Governor Jan Brewer. She has led our state with honor and is one of the strongest fighters for conservative values in the country - I am very humbled to have her support.
The Arizona Republic, our state's largest newspaper, also endorsed my campaign stating in their editorial, "If the goal is to get an intractable Congress moving again, we'll need Salmon's brand of leadership." Click here to read their endorsement.
Lastly, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce became the third East Valley business organization to endorse my campaign for Congress. Their endorsement follows the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Alliance, two other strong advocacy groups for a prosperous business climate. I'm grateful for their support and I look forward to fighting for pro-business policies when I return to Congress.
Every day in August brings us a campaign event and we want to see you at one of our bigger events. Join us this Saturday, August 4th at the Rockin' R Ranch in Mesa for an evening of food and fun! In addition to this major event, I'll be holding meet and greets throughout the district every night for the month of August. If you would like to attend one near you, please contact Drew Sexton at drew@salmonforcongress.com.
I'm thrilled to announce that since our phone banking program began we have called over 45,000 voters in the district. This is a fantastic accomplishment, but with early voting now underway we need your help to call more voters. Our phone banks are open at our campaign office every day from 10:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays. Even if you can only make it in for an hour on a weeknight or a Saturday, it would make a huge difference to our campaign. These next four weeks are so critically important to our success and I hope to see you at our campaign office or at one of our events. It's been a long journey since I first announced my campaign to return to Congress and we would not be in such a great position for victory without your help.
