Salmon for Congress

Friends,

After 16 long months of campaigning, making thousands of phone calls and meeting with voters throughout Congressional District 5, we earned a victory in the Republican primary election on August 28th. I cannot thank you enough for your extraordinary work and the commitment you made to this campaign. Whether it was phone banking, handing out flyers, knocking on doors or attending debates, we sincerely appreciate everything you did to help spread our campaign's message to voters.

Since our victory in last month's primary, I have been honored to receive more support from some of Arizona's finest leaders. My primary opponent, former Speaker Kirk Adams, was the most recent to announce his support for my candidacy. I truly appreciate his call for party unity and I am excited to work with him in the near future. Senator Jon Kyl, one of the most dedicated public servants in Arizona's history, also endorsed my campaign in early September. His leadership and service will be greatly missed when he retires in January.

I was also honored to gain the support from Arizona Speaker of the House Andy Tobin and Gilbert Mayor John Lewis. These two gentlemen are some of our brightest and best local leaders and I am eager to work with them to restore prosperity and growth to our state.

With the first presidential debate scheduled for next Wednesday, October 3rd, I wanted to personally invite you to join me at a debate watch party at Floridino's Restaurant in Chandler. There will be plenty of food, drinks and Televisions to cheer on our Republican presidential nominee Governor Mitt Romney. The event begins at 5:30 pm and Floridino's is located at 590 N. One of the most critical aspects to our successful primary campaign was our efforts to call thousands of voters and spread our conservative message. The general election will have a higher turnout than the primary so we will need your help to reach even more voters over the phone. Please contact Greg to schedule a time to come in and help us out on the phones.

Although our primary victory was one major step towards reforming Washington, we still have another major step to take: winning the general election in November. For the next 40 days I will continue to campaign hard and meet with as many voters as I possibly can - I hope you will join me on the campaign trail.

With your continued help, I am confident that we will achieve victory once more on November 6th.
